Food Blogger at Heart

I'm going to start this post off with the last part of my day. Super Wal-Mart. I really need to stop buying magazines, seeing as they cost more than Maranatha nut butters (at least at Wal-mart.) I went hoping to find some PB & Co. But what I got was much much better...Maranatha chocolate almond...for $4.48. That is nearly free in the world of nut butters. I mean I paid $5.99 for Dark Chocolate Dreams last night at Fred Meyers. Come on people! You know I had to sample the chocolate almond butter when I got home (or maybe you don't know seeing as this is my first post and all.) It was lovely. I remember reading Amy's review a very long time ago saying that this was less candy like that DCD but more grown up. I would definitely agree that this dark chocolate almond butter is a sophisticated older sibling to DCD.

Since pics of groceries are one of my favorite kind of blog pics (and grocery shopping is my favorite hobby):

For breakfast I had a overnight oats in a jar with DCD:

Lunch was this beauty of a chicken sausage and avocado sandwich on Dave's Killer bread with some mini peppers for munching.  I just discovered Dave's this summer.  I highly recommend you hunt some down.  Its made in Oregon.  It will change your life.

Iced Coffe & a book for sunbathing!

I did C25K today, Day 3.  It ws my first time outside, and boy were those hills BRUTAL.  I came home and guzzled water then made a protein/greek yogurt/kale/frozen fruit smoothie!  It kind of tasted like dirt-in a good, natural sort of way-but it was the perfect refuel.  I think the problem was that the kale was purple :)

Dinner consisted of TJ's meatless meatballs, basil, olive oil, whole wheat rotini, and raw french green beans (for munching.)

Dessert was a smooze!  Think minute maid triangle pops in cardboard but much yummier and made with coconut milk and in this case pineapple juice.  I got mine at whole foods.  They can also be found online from amazon...Delish!

I have always been a serious lurker of blogs (mostly food/health ones) and I figure its time for me to join the pack and quit lurking so hello, my name is Stephanie :)
